Spent the day working at home, getting into some web design for work. As somebody who claims “web designer” on his resume, it’s been an embarrassingly long time since I actually did any web design. I’ll be easing back into it over the next couple of weeks with a small project, which will in turn prepare me for the upcoming total overhaul of our company web site.

Homegrown Tech

This morning at work, I gave a presentation to a client of a project that I’ve spent the entire last week developing from scratch. It had been a tumultuous week to say the least; much of what I was doing was either tech I hadn’t touched in far too long, or brand new methodology that I was teaching myself on the fly.

First Thoughts: F.E.A.R. 3

Longtime readers of my blog are likely familiar with my great appreciation of the F.E.A.R. video game series, originally created and launched in 2005 by Monolith. The original game, which was the subject of one of my first reviews on this site, was succeeded by two expansion packs and a full-blown sequel in 2009, the latter of which I also reviewed.
