The new Knight Rider soundtrack CD by Don Peake It’s finally happened. After years of stonewalling, Universal has given Don Peake the go-ahead to release a new album of Knight Rider music. Shown here, this special limited-edition album (of which only 1,000 copies were made) is a special gift to German fans of Knight Rider, who are arguably even more rabid (and more organized) that fans here in the United States.

Wow. I’ve just been through a hurricane! Thankfully, we live far enough southward on the Gulf Coast of Florida to have been spared major damage from Hurricane Charley as it roared overhead. We actually made out really well compared to the city just 40 minutes north of us.

Back in 1993 I remember buying a Super Nintendo game and excitedly reading the manual in the car on the way home. That game was Star Fox. One of the forgotten classics produced for the SNES, Star Fox has, in my opinion, the absolute best soundtrack of any game released on that platform, period.

Oh…and if, upon reading the title of this post, you were reminded of Harvie hiding in a ventilation shaft and chowing down on a chocolate cake while the captain of the Genia 17 verbally accosted the cake’s infuriated owner, then congratulations—you’re the only other person on earth who could possibly have made that connection!

UPN 8 Sucks

The local UPN affiliate in my area sucks donkey gonads. This isn’t anything particularly new, since they’ve always really blown (I mean, when your call letters are “WEVU” and you make jokes in your bumpers like “We View TV!”, you have to be pretty far down on the totem pole of TV station professionalism).

I’m more of a mainstream FPS gamer who likes your run-of-the-mill Dooms, Half-Lives, and all that other crap. But even I can get into a good medieval RPG if it’s accessible enough, and that’s where Sacred comes in.
